Ms. Debra Segars "Debbie" Beard, 54, of 68 Old Sardis Drive, Hartwell, died peacefully Friday, September 14 at her home.

Born on August 16, 1958 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of the late Billy E. Segars and Mildred White Whitaker and Charles I. Whitaker.She was a Lunchroom worker at Hart County High School and of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her two sons, Frankie Beard and his wife Tammy and Will Beard all of Hartwell; former spouse, Clifford Beard of Hartwell; a sister, Linda Dickerson of Hartwell; four brothers, Glenn Segars and his wife Donna, Freddie Segars and his wife Marie, Mike Segars and Mark Segars and his wife C.J. all of Hartwell; a grandson, Logan Beard also survives.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Randall Starrett and Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday night.The family is at the home of Glenn and Donna Segars, 68 Old Sardis Drive, Hartwell.
