Mrs. Deborah Jean Lee "Debbie" Bruce, 58, of Norman Road, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at her home.

Born on February 19, 1960 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of Bennie Lee and the late Minnie Harris Lee.Mrs. Bruce was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church.

Survivors include her father: Bennie Lee of Royston; her husband: Ricky Bruce of the home; two daughters: Amanda Veal (Rev. Adam) of Royston and Kayla Wilson of Hartwell; a sister: Judy Lee of Lavonia six grandchildren: Kaitlin, Kinsley and Kassidy Veal and Mikala, Marlie and Ryan Wilson also survive.Mrs. Bruce was preceded in death by her mother: Minnie Harris Lee; three brothers: Thomas Lee, Randy Lee, Eddie Lee and one sister: Barbara Hilley.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Adam Veal and Rev. Leon Carson officiating.Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Royston.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening.The family is at the home of Amanda and Adam Veal, 1278 Cheek Pulliam Road, Royston GA.
