Mrs. Debrah "Debbie" Ann Campbell of Lavonia, Georgia went home to Jesus on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
Born on October 26, 1957 in Heidelberg, Germany and raised in Hopewell, Virginia, she was the daughter of Grace Chase and the late Paran Chase. She married Darrell Gray Campbell on June 4, 1983 and they together raised three children in Georgia. Debbie was immensely strong in her faith in Jesus Christ, passionate about college football and loved RV travels with her husband. She found immense joy in her children and grandchildren, tennis and life on Lake Hartwell.
Survivors include her husband, Darrell G. Campbell of Lavonia, Georgia; her mother, Grace Chase of Chester, Virginia; two daughters, Megan K. Campbell of Atlanta, Georgia and Kaylan R. McDowell (Ben) of Chesapeake, Virginia; a son, Chase B. Campbell of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters, Barbara Everett of Chester, Virginia and Cynthia White (Tom) of Richmond, Virginia; and two grandchildren, Norah Grace McDowell and Grant Paran McDowell.
Because of the current conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, the family will not be having a formal visitation.They ask that everyone keep them in their thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks.
Debbie wished to be cremated and a celebration of Debbie's life will be held at a future date when everyone can come together again to spend time with the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hartwell First United Methodist Church, 200 E. Howell Street, Hartwell GA 30643.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
