Deborah "Debbie" Franks, age 62, of Lavonia, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024 at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens.

Born June 14, 1961, in Royston, she was the daughter of the late Lester Frank & Annie Mae Cash. She was a caregiver and was a member of Double Branches Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Pat Eugene Franks; son: Joshua Franks; daughter: Crystal Norris; grandchildren: Katie Aldrich, Kynzie Hamdan, Briella Franks, Axton Norris; great grandchild: Kayden White; siblings: Michael Cash, Johnny Cash, Kenneth Cash & Mary Gray.

The funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2024 at Double Branches Baptist Church with Rev. Ralph Goss and Rev. Nate Bunner officiating. Burial will Follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at other times the family will be at the home of Crystal Norris. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Tommy Allen, Justin Cash, Jason Franks, Alex Gray, Brent Gray, and Clay Westmoreland.

Flowers are optional or memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
