Deborah Jean Hildreth Knight, age 59, of Selma, AL, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, GA.
Born September 5, 1961, in Selma, AL, she was the daughter of Lugusta (Powell) Hildreth and the late Claude Hildreth, Jr. She was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed by Wiley Sanders Trucking Company. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Ms. Hildreth was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother: Clifford Hildreth.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother: Lugusta Powell Hildreth; children: Rashanya Grace (Kevin), Antwang Knight (Brittany), and Terrika Gibson and; siblings: Claude Hildreth III, Diane Elliott (Calvin), JoAnn Hildreth, Donnell Williams, Jenette Robinson (James), Demetrius Powell, Claudia Hildreth, Charles Hildreth, and Clinton Hildreth; grandchildren: Tyshiana Carlton (Christopher), Kyera Grace, Tania Grace, Kayla Grace, Maurice Knight, Jalyn Knight, Jayden Knight,Ameria Knight, Ja'Kai Knight, Kendrick Knight, Destiney Grace, Ashanti Knight, and Alighia Knight; great-grandchild: Amora Carlton; aunt: Cora Powell; uncle: Nathaniel Fails; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
