Obituary
Mrs. Debra Alice Wright Holmes, 37, of 3178 Pulliam Mill Rd, Dewy Rose, died Saturday, March 28 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born February 10, 1972 in Hart County, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by: husband, Matt Holmes of the home, parents, Tommy Wright and Martha Mize Wright of Dewy Rose, Ga., brothers, Glenn Wright and his wife Becky of Bowman, Ga., and Wilbern Wright of Bowman, Ga., niece Amanda Wright of Bowman, Ga., several aunts and uncles also survive. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilbern and Delean Mize and Kimsey and Mary Wright.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. from the Holly Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Leon Carson, Rev. Sean Baughman and Rev. Mike Westbrook will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. The family is at the home of her parents, 3181 Pulliam Mill Road, Dewy Rose, Ga. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society,1610 Lightwood Road, Hartwell, Ga. 30643
