Mrs. Dorothy "Dee" Shaw Glenn, 88, Cedar Lane, Hartwell, died Thursday, February 13, 2014 at her home.

Born on March 15, 1925 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Judson Bonner Shaw Sr. and Elizabeth Miller Shaw Matheson.Mrs. Glenn was a graduate of Hartwell High School and attended Georgia State College for Women.She was a member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church and the Elizabeth Matheson Circle.

Survivors include her four sons: Robert "Mac" Glenn and his wife Alice, Gregory S. Glenn and his wife Becky and Kenneth G. Glenn all of Hartwell and William J. Glenn and his wife Susan of Jupiter FL; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.Mrs. Glenn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert M. Glenn Sr.; a brother, Judson B. Shaw Jr and a sister, Mary S. Gardner.

Memorial services will be Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hartwell First United Methodist Church with Dr. R. Allen Stewart officiating.A reception will follow the memorial service in the church fellowship hall.
