Obituary
Mr. Benny Derrell Parson, 45, of 3147 Ridge Rd, Hartwell, died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at his home.
Born on March 24, 1964 in Hart County Georgia, he was a former truck driver and attended the Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, William R. "W.R." Parson and Yvonne Agnew Parson of Hartwell, Ga., a daughter, Brittany Nicole Parson of Hartwell, who was the love of his life; a sister, Teresa Parson Trujillo and husband Obdulio of Bowersville and a niece, Savanna Brown of Hartwell also survives.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. from the Hartwell Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Rev. David Toulson and Minister Colby Myers will officiate. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. The family will be at the home.
