Dewey Roy Hill, age 80, of Lavonia, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Brown Health & Rehabilitation in Royston.

He was born May 2, 1943, in Lavonia, a son of the late Berter and Myrtie Segars Hill. He worked for several years with Sibley Mills, before retiring from Jack Childress Heating and Air. He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Floyd Hill, Roger Hill, and Harold Hill. He is survived by five sisters: Frances Cleveland, Elizabeth Bailey, Mary King, Shirley Bruce, and Susan Thornton; one brother: Larry Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Providence Church at Shoal Creek, 2395 Providence Church Road, Lavonia, GA 30553. Mr. Hill was cremated in accordance with his request.
