Ms. Dewis Fay Reed Cleveland, 83, of 2726 Mt. Hebron Rd., Hartwell, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at Hart Co. Hospital.

Born on February 15, 1924 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Reed and Rose A. Bailey Reed.She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son: Thomas Fay and his wife Diane of Hartwell; a stepdaughter: Jan Cleveland and her husband Ricky of Hartwell; one sister: Inez Marlow of Hartwell; three grandchildren: Mark Fay, Mickey Davenport, and Lucas Kalas; three great-grandchildren: Tyler Fay, Leah Davenport, and Logan Davenport also survive.She was preceded in death by her two husbands: Thomas Fay and Billy J. Cleveland, her parents, two brothers: Inman Reed and Thamer Reed; five sisters: Audrey Osborne, Maudie Dickerson, Roxie Herring, Vernelle Atkinson, and Geneva Fleming.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Black and Dr. Donald Little officiating.The burial will be at the Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.The family will be at the home of her son, Tommy and Diane Fay, 2747 Mt. Hebron Rd., Hartwell, GA.
