Mrs. Edna Dianne Stroup, 78, of Bethany-Bowersville Road, Canon, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.

Born on November 19, 1946 in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Fred Kent and Edna Earnest Kent. Mrs. Stroup worked in sales at Rich's Department Store, and she attended the Hartwell First Methodist Church.

Survivors include her two daughters: Angela Collier & Clifford of Warrenton, GA, and Meredith O'Neill & John of Canon, GA; one sister: Peggy Lucier of Griffin, GA; nine grandchildren: Daniel Fox, Chad Brown, Justin Brown, Ashley Anderson, Matthew Brown, Misty Dull, Adrianna Hernandez, Austin O'Neill, Gabriella O'Neill; and eight great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Stroup is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Clifford Lawrence Stroup; and one daughter: Tammie Brown.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Dianne Stroup will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hartwell First Methodist Church with Dr. R. Allen Stewart officiating. A reception will follow at the home of her daughter: Meredith & John O'Neill, 3938 Bethany-Bowersville Road, Canon GA.
