Obituary
Mr. Donald Ray Ball, age 80, of Lavonia, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 at his home.
Born July 31, 1937, in Richton, MS, he was the son of the late Denton Ball. He retired from Dekalb County as the Chief of the HVAC Department. He was a bonsai enthusiast and was a founder and lifetime member of the Georgia Falconry Association.
He is survived by his wife: Kathleen (Bennett) Ball; one son; three daughters; two step-children; two brothers; twelve grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ball was cremated in accordance with his request. No memorial service will be planned at this time. The family requests no flowers; your prayers are the only things needed to express sympathy.
