Mr. Donald Fowler Boles, 84, of Hartwell, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Born on August 22, 1937 in Dewy Rose, GA, he was the son of the late Walter Lee Boles and Mamie L. Brown Boles. Mr. Boles was retired mechanic for Springs Industries. He was of the Baptist faith, and a veteran of the US Army.

Survivors include his two daughters: Judy Stovall and Janet Pearson, both of Hartwell; two brothers: Ray Boles and Tony Boles, both of Hartwell; four grandchildren: Jeff Stovall (Joy), Kristy Schaefer (Thomas), JR Pearson, Future Sadler; and three great grandchildren: Aidan Stovall, Ethan Stovall, and Samuel Schaefer. He is also survived by his companion of many years: Linda Parham of Hartwell and her children: Tammy Weaver and Pam & Mark Vickery. Mr. Boles is preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law: Wayne Stovall; Tammy's husband: Barry Weaver; and six brothers and five sisters.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mr. Donald Boles will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Gary McCurley and Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
