Mr. Donald James Caufield, Jr, 65, of Bio Church Rd, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at his home.

Born on February 17, 1958 in Dorchester, MA, he was the son of Roberta Thompson Caufield and the late Donald James Caufield Sr. Mr. Caufield was a self-employed contractor, and was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, fishing, hunting, and shooting. Mr. Caufield was a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his mother: Roberta T. Caufield of Blackstone, MA; two sons: Donny Caufield (Jocelyn) of Somerset, MA, and Danny Caufield (Erin) of Sumter, SC; one sister: Judy Connelly (David) of Blackstone, MA; and three grandchildren: Hunter, Aaron, and Daniel Caufield.

It was Mr. Caufield's wishes to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating his life will be announced.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of local arrangements.
