Mr. Donald Haygood, 78, of Crossroads Circle, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 at his home.

Born on June 16, 1943 in Carnesville, GA, he was the son of the late Russell Oliver Haygood and Annie Segars Haygood. Mr. Haygood was a retired set-up technician for Tenneco Automotive, and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his son: Timothy W. Haygood (Shanon) of Hartwell; daughter: Kim Berryman (Phillip) of Hartwell; five grandchildren: Jon Haygood (Hannah), Jessica Ashworth, Brittany Madden, Hunter Berryman, Amber Berryman; and eleven great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Haygood is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Mary Blanch White Haygood; seven brothers: Lam, Frank, Johnny, Jerry, Bob, Kenneth, and Billy Haygood; and two sisters: Ruth Chatham and Sara Welborn.

The family will receive friends Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home of Timothy and Shanon Haygood, 629 Kelly Rd, Hartwell.

Funeral services for Mr. Donald Haygood will be held Monday, May 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Cory Pulliam officiating.A private graveside service will be held in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
