Mr. William "Donald" Suit, age 68, of the Red Hill Community, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born March 21, 1948, in Hart County, he was the son of the late William "Will" Suit and Dessie (Holmes) Phillips Suit. He was formerly employed at Toccoa Casket Company, where he was a supervisor in the wood department. He owned and operated S & S Designs. Mr. Suit was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife: Dianne (Thomas) Suit; son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Laura Suit; and grandsons: Marc and Ryan Suit. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Julian Phillips; and sisters: Estelle Woods and Annie V. Ginn.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Truitt Brawner officiating. Burial will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home.
