Mr. Donald Raymond Vezeau, 82, of Elrod Ferry Road, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at his home.

Born on September 16, 1934 in Hammond IN, he was the son of the late Kenneth Fredrick Vezeau and Peggy Cole Vezeau.He was owner/operator of Don Vezeau Construction, had served in the Indiana National Guard and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two sons: Roger (Cindy) Vezeau of Huntington IN and Chris (Rachel) Vezeau of Cary IL; a daughter: Connie (Coen) VanDePoll of Laguna Hills CA; a brother: Jerry (Jackie) Vezeau of Hartwell; two sisters: Judith (Thomas) McCarroll of Eustis FL and Charlene (Earl) DeBold of Griffith IN; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

A service celebrating Don's life will be held at a later date in northwest Indiana.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
