Donna Marie Teller Fetters, age 80, of Lavonia, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at her home following an extended illness.
Born March 26, 1941, on the Menominee Reservation in Keshena, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Chief Joseph and Julia (Pyawasit) Teller. She was a retired business owner and of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Fetters was a member of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin.
She is survived by daughters: Virginia Lee Norris and Jerilyn Steffen; son: David Howard; grandchildren: Christopher Ray Norris, Timothy Logan Lee Norris, Rebecca Norris, Johnathon Brown, Cory Steffen, Desiree Howard, Michael Howard, Faith Toy, Crystal Szaflarski, Donna Howard, David Howard, Jr., Timothy Howard, Matthew Harris, Lacey Abercrombie, Angel Harris, Holly Harris, Nicholas Miner, and Brittany Howard; sixteen great-grandchildren; and sister: Delores Feldman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Arnold Fetters; daughters: Joylyn Toy and Tonya Howard; sons: Christopher Howard and Cliff Howard; grandsons: Joshua Howard and Andrew Howard; brother: Michael Teller; and sisters: Barbara Levonavich, Evelyn Kaquatosh, Harriett Bielke, and Edith Fish.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Daniel Thompkins officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
