Mrs. Donna Howe Pate, 83, of Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Prisma Oconee Memorial Hospital.

Born on September 6, 1940 in Alexandria VA, she was the daughter of the late Elliott Howe and Iris Newsome Howe.  Mrs. Pate attended Elon College and retired from Northeast Georgia Bank, where she worked as a bank teller.

Survivors include her husband: Bobby C. Pate of Clemson SC; a son: Elliott Pate (Jenny) of Carrollton GA and two granddaughters: Olivia Pate and Katie McCulloch (Matt). Mrs. Pate was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter: Kathee Jones and a son: Lonn Pate.

Mrs. Pate wished to be cremated and a time to remember her life will be held at a later date by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
