Mr. Alton Donnie Craft, 78, of Old Beacon Light Road, Hartwell, died Monday, May 19, 2014 at his home.

Born on October 26, 1935, in Hartwell, he was a son of the late Crate Craft and Carrie Coe Craft. He was the owner of Craft Supply Co., gas stations and convenient stores. He was of a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his wife: Marlene Alderich Craft; one son: Terry Craft of Odenten, MD; one daughter: Rene Craft of Commerce; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters: Eloise Vickery and Maebelle Ertzberger Fleming.He was preceded in death by his daughter: Donna Jo Craft and one sister: Willie Burns.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cross Roads Baptist Church in Hartwell with Rev. Michael McMurray, Rev. Mike Dyar and Rev. Connie Mack Bowers officiating.Burial will be in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family is at the home.
