Obituary
Mr. Donnie T. Dove, 58, of 2683 Dempsey Brown Rd., Dewy Rose, died Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Hart Co. Hospital.
Born in August 15, 1948 in Hart Co. GA, he was the son of the late Charlie Ray Dove and Ruby Carlan Dove.He was a member of the VFW and of the Church of God Faith.He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his sister: Shirley Scott of Cary NC; three brothers: William Ray Dove of Dewy Rose, Ronnie Dale Dove of Elberton and Michael Blaine Dove of Dewy Rose also survive.He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Linda Drake and Brenda Anthony.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Military Honors.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home – Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday night.The family is at the home of a brother: Dale Dove, 1908 Anderson Hwy, Elberton GA.
