Mr. Donald James "Donnie" Greenway, 76, of Greenway Upholstery Road, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia.

Born on October 7, 1946 in Hart County, GA, he was the son of the late Leonard Greenway and O'Dell Risner Greenway. Mr. Greenway was the owner/operator of Greenway Upholstery Shop for 50 years, and was a member of the Reed Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Jill Allen Greenway of the home; two sons: Don & Teresa Greenway of Hartwell and Daryl & Wanda Greenway of Ladson, SC; one sister: Frances Roper of Hartwell; one brother: Fred & Mary Ann Greenway of Hartwell; four grandchildren: Alex Greenway, Ali Greenway, Clint & Nicole Greenway, and Jessica & Carl Gibson; and six great grandchildren: Carl, Emma, Wyatt, and Lyla Gibson, and Cayne and Camille Greenway. Mr. Greenway is preceded in death by his parents and five brothers: Joel, Larry, Clifford, Jerry, and Jackie Greenway.

The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Reed Creek Baptist Church.  Other times the family will be at the home.

Graveside services for Mr. Donnie Greenway will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Eric Boyd and Mr. Mitch Slaton officiating.
