Mr. Donnie Garland Yeargin, age 49, of W. Franklin Place, Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Hart Co. Hospital.
Born June 1, 1960 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Calvin Leo Yeargin and Julia Blanche Blakely Yeargin.He was retired from Hartwell Railroad and was a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by:Sister, Melba Yeargin of Hartwell, GA; Brothers, Calvin Yeargin of Hartwell, GA and Dan Yeargin of Canon, GA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Dr. Steve Williams will officiate.Burial will be in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday from 3 – 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.The family is at the home of Dan and Pam Yeargin, 1608 Kesler Road, Canon, GA.The family requests no flowers; Memorials be made to Gideon's International, Hart Co. Camp, P.O. Box 59, Hartwell, GA30643.
