Doreen Marie Swaim, 65, of Carlton, Georgia passed away peacefully at home after multiple battles with illness, on October 25, 2023.

Doreen was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on March 4, 1958. She enjoyed spending time with her pets, cooking and her inspirational Facebook page, Doreen's Love, Hope and Understanding. She was married to her beloved husband of 27 years, Michael Swaim on September 28, 1996. Doreen and Michael met as students at the Culinary Institute of America where she went on to graduate with honors. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband Michael, and brothers David Grub and his wife, Lorraine of Newport, Pennsylvania, Dennis Grub and his wife, Tina of Port Royal, Pennsylvania and goddaughter Abigail Justinn. Memorial services will be determined at a future date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local pet shelter.
