Obituary
Mrs. Doris (Long) Batson, age 60, of Alto, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born June 2, 1958 in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late William Clifton Long, Sr. and Dorothy (Irvin) Long. She was a homemaker
She is survived by daughter: Tabitha Nicole Batson; son: Joey Ronald Batson; sisters: Elaine Canady and Teresa Wade; brothers: Bobby Long and Dale Irvin; and 6 grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Chester Ronald Batson; and brothers: William "Billy" Long, Jr., Wayne Long and Ray Long.
A memorial service will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at New Vision Worship Center in Baldwin, the family will greet friends following the service.
