Obituary
Mrs. Doris Willis Eavenson, age 81, died Monday, January 18, 2010 at Brown Memorial Convalescent Center in Royston.
Born April 26, 1928 in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Teasley & Mattie Lee (Durham) Willis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lavonia VFW Post 5897. Mrs. Eavenson was of the Church of God faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Cliff Eavenson; son: Eddie Eavenson; sister: Bonnie Sue Fortson; granddaughters: Denise Dean and Lynn Dean; and son-in-law: Carlise Dean.
Survivors include daughter: Sylvia Eavenson Dean; great-granddaughter Ashley Nicole Dean; and nephews: Steve Fortson, Ronnie Fortson, & Fred Fortson.
Mrs. Eavenson's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
