Mrs. Doris Crouch Pease, 87, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Hart Care Center.

Born on September 14, 1928 in Youngstown OH, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Crouch and McCoy Patterson Crouch. Mrs. Pease was a graduate of the University Of Virginia School Of Pharmacy and was a retired Pharmacist, last working for the Hartwell Pharmacy. She was a member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church and also attended the Sharon Presbyterian Church.Mrs. Pease was a master gardener and a member of the Nancy Hart Garden Club.

Survivors include her daughter: Margaret Jacoby of Whidbey WA; her three sons: Robert "Bob" Pease III and his wife Lynn of Watkinsville GA, Stuart Pease and his wife Donna of Birmingham AL and John Pease of Jacksonville FL; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Pease was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Robert "Bob" Pease, Jr. and several brothers and sisters.

A private entombment service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at The Garden At Sharon.The family will receive friends starting on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church of Hartwell.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hartwell First United Methodist Church, 200 E. Howell Street, Hartwell GA 30643.
