Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Edith Delaney, 88, of Hartwell, widow of the late William Delaney, died Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Hart Care Center.
Born on November 29, 1923 in Haverhill, MA, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Moseley and Julia Slimas Moseley.She was commonly referred to as "The Horse Lady" of Hart Care Center.
Survivors include one son, James Callans of Sneads Ferry, NC; two daughters: Dorothy Snyder of Hartwell, and Sandra Greenwald of Easley SC.Mrs. Delaney was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, special memorials can be made to the Hart County Humane Society, PO Box 1062, Hartwell, GA30643.
