Mrs. Dorothy Steed Stallings, 82, of 145 Cleveland Ave., Hartwell, died Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Hart Co. Hospital.

Born on October 16, 1924 in Carroll Co. GA, she was the daughter of the late Earl Ethridge Steed and Lois Dorothy West Steed.She was a retired floral designer, member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church, Sojourners and the Mae Lilly McCurry Circle of the UMW.

Survivors include her husband: C. Harrison Stallings of the home; two daughters: Rebecca S. Lunsford of Norcross GA and Jan S. Banks of Lavonia GA; a brother: Hoyt Steed of Knoxville TN; three grandchildren: Robert Banks, Jamie L. Brys and John Lunsford; two great-grandchildren: Kristen Banks and Carter Banks.She was preceded in death her son: Charles David Stallings.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hartwell First United Methodist Church with Dr. R. Allen Stewart and Rev.
