Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Kesler Snyder, 96, of Lightwood Road, Hartwell, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018.
Born on June 10, 1921 in Mize, GA, she was the daughter of the late Herschel Kesler and Ovis Hemphill Kesler.Mrs. Snyder was a homemaker anda member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter: Luanne Burgess and her husband Doug of Hartwell; one sister: Wassie Vickery of Hartwell; and two granddaughters: Lindsay Burgess and Ansley Burgess.Mrs. Snyder was preceded in death by her husband: Al Snyder; brothers: Ed Kesler, Gary Kesler; and one sister: Ann Cheek.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 21, 2018, at 2:00 pm at the Hartwell First United Methodist Church with Dr. R. Allen Stewart officiating with a reception following the service. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The family is at the home of Luanne and Doug Burgess, 1571 Lightwood Road, Hartwell, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hartwell First United Methodist Church, 200 E. Howell St., Hartwell, GA 30643 or Hart County Botanical Gardens, P.O. Box 44, Hartwell, GA30643.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
