Mrs. Dorothy Mae "Dottie" (Pedigo) Uselton, age 85, of Ridgeview Drive, Lavonia, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at her home.
Born February 1, 1933, in Sullivan, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Gentry Allen Pedigo and Agnes Elizabeth Wooley. Prior to disability, she worked in various aspects of the construction business and was district manager of the RAX Corporation. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: David Lee Uselton; granddaughter: Kendra Easley; sister: Elizabeth Sanders; and brothers: Kenneth Pedigo, Philip Pedigo, Ron Pedigo, and Bobby Pedigo.
She is survived by her children: Rick & Norma Spaar, Twila & Matt Colbert, Sheila & Steve Askren, Fred & Mandi Uselton, and Gini & Reese Lewallen; grandchildren: Jason Hower, Erik Easley, Donnie Banks, Christopher Uselton, Kathleen Uselton, Marlena Usleton, Brad Askren, Jeremy Askren, Joshua Peterson, Desiree Peterson, and Lisa Spaar; sister: Carolyn Pedigo Neira; brothers: Roger Pedigo and Gus Pedigo; and numerous great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 250 Pleasant Grove Road, Lavonia, GA 30553. Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia is in charge of the arrangements. On-line condolences may be sent to the family at www.stricklandfh.com.
