George Douglas "Doug" Bartlett 69, of Janesville, WI passed away peacefully on Saturday January 7, 2023.

Born on September 10, 1953 in Royston, Ga, he was the son of the late Robert S Bartlett and Annie Dean Carnes Bartlett. Doug graduated from High School in Summerville; SC. He retired as a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed woodworking and home projects. Doug married Janice Saunders in Las Vegas, NV on April, 29; 1995.

Doug is survived by his Wife Janice Saunders Bartlett of Janesville, WI. Two daughters, Courtney Bartlett of Denver, CO. Hailey Bartlett (Helen) of Janesville, WI. And Brother Skipper Wainwright of Texas, two grandchildren Violet and Ben Goodman of Denver, CO. Sister in-laws Patsy Bartlett of Hartwell, GA, Phyliss Hodges (Steve) of Janesville, WI, Donna Saunders and Brother-in-law Tim Saunders of Beloit, WI, and a very special friend 'brother" Jesse Potter (Patti) of Colorado. Doug was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jeff and David Bartlett.

Doug wished to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
