Mr. Douglas H. Ross, 81, of Teasley Mill Road, Bowman, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at his home.

Born on April 22, 1942 in Gary WV, he was the son of the late Carl Everett Ross and Ruby Foster Ross.  Doug was Owner/Operator of D&S Services and a member of the Charismatic Christian Center, Monroe GA.

Survivors include his wife: Susan Lee Bland Ross; two sons: Vincent Ross (Sherry) of Loganville GA and Timothy Ross (Jean) of Jefferson GA; two daughters: Teresa Ross of Woodstock GA and Kimberly Ellis (Eli) of Monroe GA; ten grandchildren also survive.

Doug wished to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Other times the family will be at their respective homes.
