Mr. Doyle Cornelius Sadler, 68, of 210 West Howell Street, Hartwell, died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at his home.

Born on October 21, 1944 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Roy Sadler and Inez Risner Sadler Overcash.He was a retired material handler for Tenneco Automotive and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include two daughters: Sherry Saylors of Athens, GA, Lisa Norris and her husband Michael of Canon; one sister, Martha Carnes and her husband Wilton of Washington, GA; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.Mr. Sadler was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard Sadler; and a grandchild, Dante Richard Norris.

Memorial services will be Monday, March 4, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.It was Mr. Sadler's wishes to be cremated.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, special memorials may be made to the Hart County Recreation Department, Powell Road, Hartwell, GA30643.
