Obituary
Mrs. Earlene Hayes Adams, age 90, of 443 Early Drive, Hartwell, died Monday, August 8, 2011 at Hart Care Center.
Born August 22, 1920, in Hart County, she was the daughter of the late J. Lester and Myrtie Mae (Beggs) Hayes. She was a former employee of Hartwell Manufacturing. Mrs. Adams was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Carolyn and Don Bailey of Hartwell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Hugh Adams; brothers: Joe Fred Hayes and Nelson Hayes; and sisters: Marjorie Watts and Mary Kesler.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Hartwell Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Keith McKenzie and Rev. Ray Black officiating. Burial will follow in Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.At other hours the family will be at the home of Carolyn and Don Bailey, 421 Early Drive, Hartwell, GA 30643.Flowers are optional, or memorials may be made to Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, 273 Mt. Hebron Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
