Obituary

Mr. Frank Edward Jaynes age 78 of Martin passed away Friday March 7, 2025, at Nancy Hart Nursing Center in Elberton.

A son of the late Jessie Jack and Lucille Fowler Jaynes, he was born January 24, 1947, in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Franklin County. He was employed with the City of Lavonia Water Department with 27 years service. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He loved his dog Gator and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Grace Fulbright Jaynes, a son Donald Edward Jaynes and two brothers Cecil Jaynes and Lewis Jaynes.

Survivors include his daughter Connie Jaynes of Lavonia, brothers and sisters-in-law LeRoy and Claudine Jaynes of Toccoa, Pete and Belinda Jaynes of Toccoa, sister Sally Singleton of Toccoa, sister-in-law Lorette Jaynes of Westminster, South Carolina and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday March 10, 2025, at 2 P.M. with the Reverend Tony Hancox officiating. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Brandon Bohannon, Joey Singleton, Wilton Hancox, Chris Allen, Josh Stinespring, Cole Cowart and Carson Cowart.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens
