Obituary
Mr. Heriberto "Eddie" Leon, age 76, of Martin, died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Stephens County Hospital.
Born March 16, 1935, in San Diego, CA, he was the son of the late: Raymond and Ruth (Rufael) Leon. He was a veteran of the US Army, having retired after 24 years of service. Mr. Leon was a member of the Lavonia United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Polly (Fowler) Leon; step-son: Michael Duncan; brother John Leon; and sisters: Cecilia Leon and Mary Parker.
Mr. Leon's wishes were to be cremated and a graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 at Danielsville Memorial Gardens, Sunset Drive, Danielsville, with Rev. Randall Massengill officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lavonia United Methodist Church, 25 Baker Street, Lavonia, GA 30553.
