Mrs. Edna Ginn Holbrook, age 74, of 1848 Hwy 172 W, Bowman GA, died Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Hart Care Center.

Born August 29, 1933 in Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Palmer Ginn and Emma Mae Gray Ginn. She was retired from BASF after 23 years of service. She was a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church.

She is survived by: daughters, Lynne Young and her husband Michael of Chatsworth, Ga., Beth Dove and her husband Curtis of Bowman, Ga., Pam Vaughn and her husband Mike of Laurens, S.C., and Marcia Dutton and her husband Ronald of Hartwell, Ga., brother, Ralph Ginn of Anderson, S.C. Eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Collie D. Holbrook and brother Elton Ginn.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hartwell Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home. Rev. Clay Huff will officiate. Burial will be at Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening. The family will be at the home of Beth & Curtis Dove, 1848 Highway 172 West, Bowman, Ga.
