Mrs. Edna Loudermilk Scott, 95, of 94 Cade Street, Hartwell, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Hartwell Health Care Center.
Born on March 15, 1918 in Canon, GA, she was the daughter of the late Sidney Loudermilk and Elen Bailey Pierce.Mrs. Scott was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Baker of Hartwell; a son, Marvin Scott and his wife Beverly of Hartwell; eight grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James E. Scott; two sons: Bobby W. Scott, Robert Scott; one daughter, Shirley Scott; and one grandchild.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Oak View Cemetery in Canon, GA with Chaplain Dennis Duck officiating.
The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. just prior to the service.The family is at the home of Marvin & Beverly Scott, 95 Race Street, Hartwell, GA.
