Miss Edna Louise Stone, 79 of Bowersville, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson SC.

Born on January 25, 1946 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Stone and Lilly Mae Goldsmith Stone.  Ms. Stone retired from LHP as an assembly line operator and a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

Survivors include one sister: Betty Vaughn of Hartwell; a sister-in-law: Betty Stone of Hartwell and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Stone was preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Carey Stone, one sister: Shirley Bratcher and her special companion: Ralph Lunsford.

Miss Stone will lie in state Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell for anyone to come by and pay their respects.

Graveside services for Ms. Edna Stone will be Friday, April 25, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Jason Webb officiating.

Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to the Charity of One's Choice.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
