Obituary
Mr. Edward Archie Manning, Sr., age 80, of 419 Gumlog Drive, Lavonia, died Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Stephens County Hospital following an extended illness.
Born July 6, 1926, in Corning, NY, he was the son of the late Clarence and Myrtle Sanford Manning. He retired as a driver for the Ingersoll Rand Company.
He is survived by his wife: Catherine Archer Manning; a son: Edward Manning, Jr. of Branchport, NY; a grandson: Sean Manning of Long Island, NY; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Doris Twist.
Mr. Manning's wishes were to be cremated. The family is at the home.
