Mr. Edwin L. Stovall, 65 of Hartwell, died Friday, July 26 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson SC.

Born on June 15, 1948 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Grady Stovall Sr. and Georgia Feltman Stovall.He was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass, former member of the Shoal Creek Fire Department and a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Moore Stovall of Hartwell; a daughter, Nissa Mitchell and her husband Kevin of Hartwell; a brother, Joe Stovall of Comer GA; three sisters, Mallie Brown of Bowersville, Shirley Baynard of Danielsville GA and Willie Windom of Newnan GA; six grandchildren, Dylan Mitchell, Dakota Mitchell, Tori Mitchell, Karrington Mitchell, Kamden Mitchell and Channing Mitchell also survive.Mr. Stovall was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Grady Stovall Jr. and Roy Stovall and a sister, Louise Coile.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 30 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.The family is at their respective homes.
