Mrs. Effie Gee Taylor, 83, of 545 Cook Street, Royston, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the Thomasville Medical Center in Thomasville, NC.
Born on October 1, 1930 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Will Rowland and Fannie Robinson Rowland.
Survivors include two daughters: Ann Roach of Easley, SC and Kay Baker of Piedmont, SC; one sister, Margie Smith of Elba, AL; nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bennie Taylor; three sons: James Rowland, Ricky Rowland, Stewart Rowland; three brothers: Willie Kiser, JD Rowland, Juneus Rowland; two sisters: Hazel Rowland and Clara Hayes; two grandchildren: Richie Rowland, Steve Windham; and one great-grandchild, Austin Evans.
Memorial services will be Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Starrett officiating.
