Mrs. Mary Elaine Evans Chapman, 41, of 145 Pennie Lane, Hartwell, died Sunday, August 31 at her home.

Born on July 14, 1967 in Hart Co. GA, she was the daughter of Mary Helen Evans of Royston and the late James Dallas Evans.She was the office manager of Chapman Appraisal Service of Hartwell.She was a member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church, Pairs & Spares SS Class and active with the Children's and Youth Ministries.

Survivors include her mother; husband: Eric H Chapman of the home; daughter: Breanna Chapman of the home; son: Tyler Chapman of the home; two sisters: Deb Lussiana of Lilburn and Angie Hall of Carnesville; two brothers: Ron Evans and Wendell Evans both of Royston also survive.She was preceded in death by her father and a brother: Ricky Evans

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hartwell First United Methodist Church with Dr. R. Allen Stewart, Rev. Whit Chapman and Rev. Troy Ayers officiating.Burial will be in the Northview Cemetery.
