Mrs. Susan Elaine Rice Lack, 75, of Glendale Drive, Hartwell, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Born on December 12, 1947 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of the late Lester Rice and Ruth Cleveland Rice. Mrs. Lack was a member of the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons: Bradley, Chris, and Lamar Lack, all of Hartwell; daughter: Tammy Owensby (Tim) of Hartwell; sister: Becky Kesler of Hartwell; and fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at the home of Bradley Lack, 235 Glendale Dr, Hartwell.

Graveside services for Mrs. Elaine Lack will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Grant Myerholtz officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
