Eldo Ernest Reed escaped the surly bonds of earth and touched the face of God on Sunday, November 11, 2012. His home going was surrounded by the love and comfort of his family and dearest friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Fay and devoted daughter, Tammy. He was predeceased by his parents John and Ora Huntsinger Reed and his siblings Patricia Reed Ballenger Seay and John Bennett Reed.Eldo was a native of Asheville, NC and after his retirement from BellSouth Telecommunications he moved to Hartwell, GA in 2001. Hartwell was the place where he found true joy and happiness through the friendships that God brought into his life.Eldo's family and friends will long remember him for his smiling face, boundless generosity, loyal and steadfast nature and willingness to always lend a helping hand.A celebration of life memorial service will be announced at a later date.
