Obituary
Mrs. Eleanor Virginia Ryan "Ginger" Harper, 82, of 537 Holly Hills Drive, Hartwell, GA, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at her home.
Born November 24, 1924 in Cumberland, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles Ryan and Elsie Crabtree Hanson.She was an Office Manager for Retail Foods Company.
Her survivors include:Husband, John William Harper of the home; Sons, Bruce William Harper of Kenton, DE and John Douglas Harper of Hartwell, GA, Daughters, JoAnn Patterson of Hartwell, GA and Linda Ryan-Harper of Hartwell, GA; 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren also survive.She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Church of God Cemetery. Rev. J.B. Kitts will officiate.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Saturday from12:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the graveside service.
