Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth Motes Ayers, 82, of North Forest Ave, Hartwell, died Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Hartwell Health Care Center.
Born on July 25, 1926 in Hart County GA, She was the daughter of the late Judge Motes and Nan Poole Motes.She was retired from Dunlop Company. and a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.
She is survived by two nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reed W. Ayers; brothers, Cortez, Clyde and Marvin Motes and sisters, Mozelle Motes and Mary Motes Sanders.
Funeral services will be Sunday, December 14 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Dr. Donald Little officiating.Burial will follow in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.Memorials may be made to Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, 273 Mt. Hebron Rd., Hartwell, GA30643 or Odyssey Hospice.
