Mrs. Elizabeth Bailey Griffin Kidd, 87, of Griffin Road, Lavonia, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia.

Born on August 16, 1936 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Crate Bailey and Amanda Hughes Bailey. Mrs. Kidd was a homemaker and a member of the Providence Methodist Church.

Survivors include her two daughters: Lisa Lawrence (Jeff) and Pam Wright (Jerry), all of Lavonia; sister: Frances Smith of Anderson, SC; five grandchildren: Nicole Wright, Josh Lawrence, Justin Wright, Trisha Lawrence, Caleb Wright; and twelve great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kidd is preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Charles Griffin and Rabun Kidd; son: Ricky Griffin; brothers: Charles & Owen Bailey; and three sisters: Shirley Worley, Connie Wilson, and Ruby Nell Bowers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Graveside services for Mrs. Elizabeth Kidd will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Providence Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ken Brewer officiating.

Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to the Providence Methodist Church, 2395 Providence Church Rd, Lavonia, GA 30553.
