Mrs. Elizabeth Cleveland Milford, 82, of Chandler Street, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at her home.

Born on August 28, 1933 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Kyle Cleveland and Cecil Mackey Cleveland.Mrs. Milford was a retired owner and operator of Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio of Hartwell.She also was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hartwell where she was a former Sunday school teacher in the children's department and a member of the choir.Mrs. Milford also participated in the Hart County Community Theater.

Survivors include her husband: Albert L. Milford; one daughter: Sandra Milford McGee and her husband Wayne of Marietta; one son: Alan Milford of Hartwell; one granddaughter: Mary Frances Flournoy of New York and one brother: Charles Cleveland of Anderson.Mrs. Milford was preceded in death by her parents; one son: Jerry Milford; and one sister: Mary Ann Blakely.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 4, 2015, at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Hartwell with the Dr. Steve Albanese and Rev. Carter Tucker officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening.Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
